Step-by-step instructions for every part of ekomeye.

Stock

Purchases, imports & suppliers

  1. Add suppliers in Suppliers (local or foreign).
  2. Create a purchase: choose supplier, type (local/import) and the supplier's currency. For foreign currency, enter the exchange rate (e.g. 1 CNY = 16.5 BDT).
  3. Add product lines with quantity and unit price in the supplier's currency.
  4. Enter shipping/freight, customs and other costs in your currency — ekomeye spreads them across items by value and shows the landed cost per unit live.
  5. Track the shipment with status Ordered → In transit.
  6. When goods arrive, click Mark received & add stock.
  7. Record payments to the supplier (full or partial); the remaining due shows on the dashboard.

Shipping / clearing agent

  1. Add the agent in Suppliers with type Shipping / clearing agent (name, contact, phone, country).
  2. On an import, choose the agent and enter the shipment's total weight (kg) and the agent's rate per kg — the agent fee is calculated (or type the agent's bill directly) — plus the AWB / B/L number. The fee is added to the landed cost of the goods.
  3. Pay the supplier and the agent separately (Pay to); each due is tracked on its own. Filter purchases by agent to see everything shipped through them.

Optional: enter an expiry date when you receive the goods.
